Laurel House in Montgomery County

To mark her Eagleville custom window covering company’s 10th year of operation, Distinctive Designs owner Lea Tran decided to give back to the community by throwing a party with all proceeds donated to Laurel House. Tran says the goal of the event is to “open the blinds to end domestic violence.”

Laurel House is the only organization in Montgomery County that provides a safe haven for abused women and children. Last year alone, Laurel House provided nearly 6,000 days of emergency shelter to nearly 200 women and their children.  Laurel House also offers dating-violence programs to students and runs a hotline for victims of domestic violence.

The event Tran is coordinating is called Window Fashion Runway 4A Cause, and it promises to be a fun-filled evening with delicious food, great entertainment and fabulous window fashions.

Conicelli Autoplex is pleased to be a Trendsetter Sponsor of the event, which will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday February 26, 2015, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in King of Prussia.
